Using this week's My Favorite Things Wednesday Sketch Challenge, I created this monochromatic baby boy card. The papers are from Echo Park's Bundle of Joy paper pad. I used MFT's Bitty Banners for the sentiment.
It's been a while since I've posted any of the cards I've made. Today I'm adding a card for the Merry Monday #112 challenge which need to include a santa hat. This cute bunny dressed in his santa hat seemed to fit the bill. Supplies: Digi Image-Wee Stamps (christmas bunny), Inks-Tim Holtz Distress (frayed burlap), Patterned Paper-MAMBI (kraft with white christmas words), Dimensional Tag-Making Memories (St. Nick collection), Die-Spellbinders, Liquid Pearls (white opal), Ribbon, Colored Pencils
Today's card is based on this sketch by CAS(E) this Sketch and features stars for the Merry Monday Challenge. I wanted a card that was bright and colorful so I started with the paper from Recollections that I've been holding in my stash. The sentiment stamp is from Inkadinkado set called Warm Holiday Wishes and it has stars mixed throughout the lettering. The red and green stars in the lower corner are affixed with foam adhesive to give some dimension. Supplies Stamp - Inkadinkado (Warm Holiday Wishes) Ink - ColorBox (Cranberry) Paper - Recollections Dies - MFT (Layered Label Die) Star Punches White Brad
I adapted this sketch to fit an A2 card, chose the birdbrain image, and some bright colorful papers from Scenic Route. I colored the bird as if he were a parrot. I can think of a couple of people that would love to get this birthday card! Thanks for looking. Supplies: Stamps: FTHS (birdbrain balloon), Hero Arts (petite messages) Ink: Versafine(onyx black) Paper: Scenic Route (Providence, Franklin Street, Ashville)
