Tropical Thinking of You

Image
When I saw the color challenge at Color Throwdown I knew exactly which stamps I wanted to work with. I bought this set from Sweet-n-Sassy (landscape silhouettes) quite a while ago and just never took the time to ink them up. I used the current sketch challenge From the Heart sketch. It worked so well with these colors too. I love the final card.

Thank You Hearts

My Favorite Things Wednesday Sketch Challenge 165 and a Splitcoast Stampers Lovefest Challenge to add doodling were combined in today's thank you card. Our daughter is getting married in May and will need plenty of thank you cards to mail so I thought I should get a little head start.

Anniversary Tulips Card

Image
My niece and her husband have a spring anniversary coming up and I'm sure I'll need a card. Tulips were the flowers at her wedding so I always try to incorporate them in her card each year.  I used a sketch from My Favorite Things Wednesday Sketch Challenge 164. Although you can't really see in the picture, I lifted two layers with foam tape to add dimension. The color combination is one of my favorites.

Pink and Presents

Today's card features Birthday Lulu from Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps. I made it for several challenges:   The Pink Elephant Color Pink Challenge, Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge 208, Kraftin' Kimmie's Spring Colors Challenge, and Anything Goes Challenge by Seize the Birthday . It's such a cute girly birthday card I'm sure that someone will enjoy receiving it.

Birthday Shelley Card

This week I made a card using a digital image from Wee Stamps named Shelley. I combined two challenges: a sketch challenge from The Deconstructed Sketch and a color challenge from The Color Throwdown. I like the combination of color with the little mermaid and her turtle friend.

Purr-fect Valentine

It's been a long time since I've shared any of my cards on my blog. Today I'd like to share a card I made for the Kraftin' Kimmie unconventional valentine challenge combined with the Deconstructing Jen Challenge #137. I used an image from the Best Fur-iends set by Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps and the papers are from the Little Azalea paper pack by Embellish by Dena.
