Retro Sketches #154

I really liked this card when I finished it today. I'm always being asked for birthday cards for boys so I used the sketch from Retro Sketches as my starting point for this one. The skateboarder has been in my collection for quite a while and I knew that it would be perfect. I paired the stamp with paper from the Echo Park Scoot 6x6 paper pad and created this fun card.

Merry Monday #147 and CAS(E) this Sketch #111

Today's card is based on this sketch by CAS(E) this Sketch and features stars for the Merry Monday Challenge. I wanted a card that was bright and colorful so I started with the paper from Recollections that I've been holding in my stash. The sentiment stamp is from Inkadinkado set called Warm Holiday Wishes and it has stars mixed throughout the lettering. The red and green stars in the lower corner are affixed with foam adhesive to give some dimension.
Supplies Stamp - Inkadinkado (Warm Holiday Wishes) Ink - ColorBox (Cranberry) Paper - Recollections Dies - MFT (Layered Label Die) Star Punches White Brad

Kraftin' Kimmie 268 and Pink Elephant 285

Be My Valentine
Since I didn't make the deadline for Kraftin' Kimmie's Sat. Challenge 266 Peace & Love, I'm going to enter it into this week's Anything Goes 268 folder. It just so happens that it also works for the theme challenge at The Pink Elephant this week. The theme was "Be My Valentine". The mix of pink and turquoise is so cheery. Thanks for looking. Supplies Stamp - KKS (Best Fur-iends) Die-namics - MFT (Layered Hearts) Paper - Doodlebug (Colors of Love) Pen - Sakura (white) Other - Felt Flowers, Colored Pencils

Mojo Monday 384 and Kraftin' Kimmie 268

One card for two challenges this time. Originally I thought I would get it done in time for the Merry Monday's challenge 145 which was to do a christmas card with candy canes. Oh well, maybe next time. I'm entering it in Kraftin' Kimmie's Wednesday Anything Goes challenge and Mojo Monday's sketch challenge.  Supplies Stamp - KKS (Candy Cane Kisses) Ink - Versafine (Onyx Black) Patterned Paper - Paper Studio (Christmas Basics paper pack) Sticker - Design Originals Other - Colored Pencils, Ribbon

Kraftin' Kimmie Krafty Krop Challenge #6

Today I finished the card for the final crop challenge from the Kraftin' Kimmie Birthday Crop on Saturday. The first card wasn't looking the way I wanted so I set it aside and did a second card. Liking this one much better. The added element was to have bling and this card is full of it. I used bling papers which turned out awesome.

Kraftin' Kimmie Krafty Krop Challenge #5

The extra element of this card challenge was to decorate the inside. I usually do something with the inside of my cards so this wasn't too difficult to add to this card. I chose to make a little girl's birthday card for this one using Birthday Lulu from Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps.

Stamps - KKS (Birthday Lulu), SU (Think Happy Thought), Sandylion (sentiments by Kelly Panacci)
Cardstock - Core'dinations (Fuscia Fizz, Teal Small Dot)
Ink - Memento Luxe (Teal Zeal), Versafine (Onyx Black), Memento (Rosebud)

Seize the Birthday 1/29/15 Challenge

This week I've made 2 birthday cards for this challenge. Using the same image from Wee Stamps named Friendship is the greatest gift. I colored them differently and used variations of the same papers from the Merry Little Christmas paper pack by My Mind's Eye. The sentiment is from Verve called Treasured Words. TFL
