On the Road Again

Brendon spends lots of time "on the road" so I wanted to be sure to have a page for his scrapbook showing him in his carseat. Here he is all snuggled inside and ready to go.

I used a sketch from Twisted Sketches (#049) and the twist was to use color any how any way. I thought a black background with large circles in primary colors suited this layout. I matted the photo with each of the colors, added stickers randomly throughout, and did the title in dimensional stickers.

    This is really fun and fab! great take on this twisted sketch! and what a darling photo! love how you matted the photo with all of the primary colors...really ties in the design well!!! TFS!!!

Merry Monday #147 and CAS(E) this Sketch #111

   Today's card is based on this sketch by CAS(E) this Sketch and features stars for the Merry Monday Challenge. I wanted a card that was bright and colorful so I started with the paper from Recollections that I've been holding in my stash. The sentiment stamp is from Inkadinkado set called Warm Holiday Wishes and it has stars mixed throughout the lettering. The red and green stars in the lower corner are affixed with foam adhesive to give some dimension. Saturday's Kraftin' Kimmie challenge #234 was to use distressing. I began with the sketch from Tuesday Morning, added papers from Carta Bella Traditions 6x6  paper pad, and an adorable gardener from Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps. The edge was punched with an EK border punch.
