4.29 sketch challenge
This picture of Ryan and I was taken while we were bowling one afternoon in March. There aren't too many pictures of the two of us together so I wanted to be sure to include this in his scrapbook.

I used the 4.29 sketch from Sketchy Thursdays for the inspiration for this page using Fancy Pants Designs papers and ribbon from the Summer Soiree collection. I added lots of layers and various punches to add some fun to the page. I even made a little pocket for a bit of hidden journaling and added some glittery rub-ons for sparkle.

I'm planning a trip to Great Lakes Mega Meet this weekend with a friend. While we're there we have signed up for a crop at Archiver's. Can't wait to enjoy a weekend filled with lots of shopping and cropping! Hopefully I'll have many more pages to share afterwards.

    This is PRECIOUS!!!! I started a tradition about a year ago ...since us scrappers are always 'behind' the camera!! LOL!!! I take a photo with my kids every month...no matter what...as they don't care if we aren't wearing makeup, hairs a mess...whatever...all they see is MOMMY!!!! :):):):):):):):) Best thing I have ever done! :):):):):) Thanks soooooooooooooooo much for playing along with Sketchy Thursdays! :):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):)

Merry Monday #147 and CAS(E) this Sketch #111

   Today's card is based on this sketch by CAS(E) this Sketch and features stars for the Merry Monday Challenge. I wanted a card that was bright and colorful so I started with the paper from Recollections that I've been holding in my stash. The sentiment stamp is from Inkadinkado set called Warm Holiday Wishes and it has stars mixed throughout the lettering. The red and green stars in the lower corner are affixed with foam adhesive to give some dimension. Distressed Gardener

Saturday's Kraftin' Kimmie challenge #234 was to use distressing. I began with the sketch from Tuesday Morning, added papers from Carta Bella Traditions 6x6  paper pad, and an adorable gardener from Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps. The edge was punched with an EK border punch.
