Christmas Snowflakes

Working with teal, silver, and white on a christmas card was the challenge from Merry Monday #97. I punched snowflakes using various punches with pearly white cardstock, trimmed the edge with snowflake ribbon, and stamped the sentiment in silver. A border in teal finished the card nicely. The final touch was to add a little bling with rhinestones in the centers of 3 of the snowflakes.

    I love the touch of teal in the ribbon and that you only used bling on a few snowflakes. Pretty card!

Merry Monday #147 and CAS(E) this Sketch #111

   Today's card is based on this sketch by CAS(E) this Sketch and features stars for the Merry Monday Challenge. I wanted a card that was bright and colorful so I started with the paper from Recollections that I've been holding in my stash. The sentiment stamp is from Inkadinkado set called Warm Holiday Wishes and it has stars mixed throughout the lettering. The red and green stars in the lower corner are affixed with foam adhesive to give some dimension. Distressed Gardener

Saturday's Kraftin' Kimmie challenge #234 was to use distressing. I began with the sketch from Tuesday Morning, added papers from Carta Bella Traditions 6x6  paper pad, and an adorable gardener from Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps. The edge was punched with an EK border punch.
