This is a Kraftin' Kimmie stamp from Dream Big that I won from a Kraftin' Kimmie challenge recently! She is so cute I couldn't wait to ink her up. I'm entering her in this week's Kraftin' Kimmie use your stash challenge. I was able to use quite a few things from my vast collection of supplies. The patterned paper is from We R Memory Keepers that I've had for at least 3 years (about time it was put to good use) The silk flowers were taken apart and added to my stash about the same time also.
The color inspiration came from last week's Color Throwdown colors of lucky limeade, real red, and daffodil delight.
Today's card is based on this sketch by CAS(E) this Sketch and features stars for the Merry Monday Challenge. I wanted a card that was bright and colorful so I started with the paper from Recollections that I've been holding in my stash. The sentiment stamp is from Inkadinkado set called Warm Holiday Wishes and it has stars mixed throughout the lettering. The red and green stars in the lower corner are affixed with foam adhesive to give some dimension.
Stamp - Inkadinkado (Warm Holiday Wishes)
Ink - ColorBox (Cranberry)
Paper - Recollections
Dies - MFT (Layered Label Die)
It's been a long time since I've shared any of my cards on my blog. Today I'd like to share a card I made for the Kraftin' Kimmie unconventional valentine challenge combined with the Deconstructing Jen Challenge #137. I used an image from the Best Fur-iends set by Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps and the papers are from the Little Azalea paper pack by Embellish by Dena.
Seize the Birthday Challenge's Topping Option this week was to use white on white for a birthday card. I chose to emboss a white panel with a Darice folder and then add butterflies punched from vellum on top of the raised ones. A simple sentiment was added to the upper corner in black to finish this elegant birthday greeting. Thanks for visiting.
Stamp: Stampin' Up
Embossing Folder: Darice (butterflies in corner)
Pears: Hero Arts
Ink: Versafine (onyx black)
